Why Families Choose Us

Three things you'll feel
on your first visit.

i.

More Than Academics

We focus on curiosity, independence, compassion, collaboration, and critical thinking — the qualities that shape a lifetime, not just a transcript.

ii.

Academics, Done Right

Our curriculum presents skills at the moment when each child is most ready to learn, building real understanding instead of rote performance.

iii.

A True Community

We view our relationship with families as a partnership, working together — teachers, parents, and children — for the benefit of every child.

The Montessori Approach

Follow the child.
Trust the work.

“The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say: the children are now working as if I did not exist.”
— Dr. Maria Montessori
Learn the Method
i

A Prepared Environment

Beautiful, ordered classrooms designed so that every material invites a child to learn through their own hands.

ii

Mixed-Age Communities

Three-year age groupings let older children mentor, younger children aspire, and every child belong.

iii

Uninterrupted Work

Long blocks of unhurried time so concentration, creativity, and deep understanding can take root.

iv

Guides, Not Lecturers

Trained Montessori teachers observe carefully and present lessons at exactly the right moment for each child.

From Our Families

“It is a wonderful community
— and one we still miss.”

As a parent of 4 children who attended Rose Hill Montessori before we moved from the area, we are grateful for the excellent start Rose Hill provided our children. The program, from primary through upper elementary, is strong on academics, while also supporting the child's socio-emotional needs. It is a wonderful community and one we still miss!

I can't say enough great things about Rose Hill Montessori, their teachers and administrators! We have been at this school for 5 years and I can't imagine our life away from the RHM community. My two kids are thriving and so happy. I'm so thankful for the support they have.

My son has gone to this school for over 3 years. He is learning multiple languages, mastering science and math skills, becoming a better writer and listener, and most of all — a better human being. The school helps the child develop a stronger sense of self and respect for our community.
